It all started with a Guinea Pig. Not just any ol' piggie that you can find at the local pet store, but someone very special, and from a specialized breeder that knew all about guinea pigs. I was fortunate enough to get her, and her name is Peanut. A Silkie or Sheltie as called in the UK, is typically from the Peruvian family, and She in fact was bred from parents that were Peruvians, and those fellas, well, they have really really long hair! Hair covering their faces!
Ain't she beautiful?
But she was lonely, and needing a friend. Then came along Snickers....Well, now, She's not as prim and proper as Peanut is, but she has made a friend with Peanut. I remember the night she came home. She was afraid, and didn't know what was going to happen to her, and when we brought her home to our Peanut, she was afraid, and for the rest of the night, she hid in a tube, and Peanut was kind enough to invite her in, and made her feel like family.
But after a while, they became buddies..Well, the rest is history.
